胸腺素α1（Thymosin alpha 1）是一個肽片段，來自Prothymosin α，一種由PTMA基因編碼的蛋白質(zhì)。它是胸腺法新里的活性成分。

這是第一個從胸腺素組分5中獲得的肽被完全測序和合成。與β胸腺肽不同，胸腺肽α1是由一個較長的113個氨基酸的前體原胸腺肽α產(chǎn)生的28個氨基酸片段，與β胸腺素在遺傳和化學上無關。
