Moses received the Torah at Sinai and transmitted it to Joshua, Joshua to the elders, and the elders to the prophets, and the prophets to the Men of the Great Assembly. They said three things: Be patient in [the administration of] justice, raise many disciples and make a fence round the Torah.

摩西從西奈山接受妥拉并傳給了約書(shū)亞，約書(shū)亞給了長(zhǎng)老，長(zhǎng)老給了先知，先知給了大會(huì)眾的眾人。他們說(shuō)了三件事：公義的要忍耐，要多多興起門(mén)徒，要建立妥拉之墻

Joshua

As Moses's successor, Joshua led the Israelites into the Land of Israel. Under his leadership, they conquered much of the land. Joshua was one of the only of the generation of the Exodus to remain alive to go into the Promised Land.

約書(shū)亞

作為摩西的繼承者，約書(shū)亞帶領(lǐng)以色列人進(jìn)入到應(yīng)許之地。在他的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)下，他們征服了大片土地。約書(shū)亞是出埃及后唯一存活且進(jìn)入應(yīng)許之地的一代。
