免疫球蛋白（immunoglobulin,Ig）是一類具有抗體活性及化學(xué)結(jié)構(gòu)與抗體相似的球蛋白，它的功能是與入侵的病原微生物發(fā)生免疫反應(yīng)（調(diào)理、中和、制動、促進吞噬或溶細(xì)胞反應(yīng)），保護機體免受病原體的侵害，參與免疫調(diào)控，保持機體內(nèi)環(huán)境穩(wěn)定。

Ig是一類糖蛋白，按免疫化學(xué)特性不同及其體內(nèi)含量，分成五大類，分別為IgG、IgA、IgM、IgD、IgE。人免疫球蛋白（IgA、IgG、IgM）在功能結(jié)構(gòu)上與糖蛋白十分相似，它們有不同的生物學(xué)特點，在不同的病理狀態(tài)下，這些指標(biāo)會有助于疾病的判斷。
