what benefits does the Internet bring to communication ?

as far as I am concerned , there are two major benefits that are brought by the Internet to communication for real .

1st?the Internet has a way to break down?limitations of space and time which makes communication practical and available anywhere and anytime , for instance ,....

2nd?the enlargement of vocabulary benefits communication as well , with the use of the Internet , there are a lot of new words which never existed back in the day to be adopted to describe something?up to date?, for example ,....
