• 紅色的字代表exciting powerful的動(dòng)詞，如：charging, dashing, jogged

• 紫色的字代表描述性詞匯，如：frantically, beautiful

• 橙色的字代表power openers，如-ly結(jié)尾的詞(suddenly, slowly, angrily),?時(shí)間的連接詞(Later that day, Meanwhile)?，表示地點(diǎn)的詞(In the distance, Under the rocks, Beyond the mountains)

• 藍(lán)色的字代表承接詞，如?when if, on the other hand, although, because, despite, as well as, contrary to

那小朋友如何在寫作里運(yùn)用到彩虹寫作技巧呢？我們來(lái)看一個(gè)例子：The boy ran to the shop.

第一步，加入紅色的動(dòng)詞

The boy?sprinted?to the shop.

第二步：加入紫色的描述性詞匯：

The?hungry?boy?sprinted?to the shop.

第三步：加一個(gè)橙色的有力的開頭

All of a sudden, the?hungry?boy?sprinted?to the shop.

第四步：加一些藍(lán)色的承接

All of a sudden, the?hungry?boy?sprinted?to the shop?because he had found some money.?

第五步：加上綠色短語(yǔ)或從句

All of a sudden,?the?hungry?boy?sprinted?to the shop,?which had recently reopened,?because he had found some money.?

是不是這句話立馬變得不一樣了？這個(gè)句式的擴(kuò)展練習(xí)同樣也可以用在段落的寫作里，譬如這段：The boy went into the room. He was looking for a noise. He heard it in the cupboard. He went to look. He opened the door. It was his dog.
